Guideline for NM 86 – Policy Authentication Endorsement

Explanation:

This endorsement provides that the Company will not deny liability under the policy or endorsements issued with the policy solely on the grounds that the policy or endorsements were issued electronically or lack signatures in accordance with the Conditions.

Underwriting Requirements:

(1). The policy to which this endorsement is attached must:

    (a) have been issued electronically or lack signatures,

    (b) be issued with a policy number, and

    (c) include a Date of Policy.

 

(2). This endorsement can be issued with either an NM Form 1 (2006 ALTA) Owner’s Policy or an NM Form 2 (2006 ALTA Loan Policy).

 

(3). This endorsement may be modified only after written approval is obtained from appropriate Stewart Title Guaranty Company underwriting personnel.

Any revision to this form requires approval of a Stewart Title Guaranty Company underwriter. The underwriting guidelines contained herein have been provided for general reference. The facts, circumstances, and location of the subject property should be considered when determining the issuance of the requested form or endorsement. Please note that all of the forms and endorsements included in this system may not be available in all states. Accordingly, please contact the appropriate Stewart Title Guaranty Company underwriting personnel in order to determine availability.

Compliance with the underwriting guidelines contained herein in no way obligates Stewart Title Guaranty Company to issue any form or endorsement.
