STG Access Endorsement Guideline 2

Guideline Document
06/06/2008
V 1

Explanation:

This endorsement insures access through a specific street.

Underwriting Requirements:

(1) You should be satisfied by a survey and examination that the property adjoins the street referred to, that the street is actually open and in use, and that there is no limitation on access to such street according to the records.
(2) You should not insure that there is "unlimited" access to the property unless you limit that access to current curb cuts.
(3) The endorsement should always refer not only to the Conditions and Stipulations of the Policy but also to the Exclusions (by general reference to the Exclusions or terms of the Policy), since governmental regulations may actually limit the access and may not be reflected in the public records.

Any revision to this form requires approval of a Stewart Title Guaranty Company underwriter. The underwriting guidelines contained herein have been provided for general reference.
